Radom is the largest urban centre in the Vistula and Pilica River fork. It is here that the world-famous Radom Air Show and International Gombrowicz Festival and Radom Jazz Festival are organized. These events are today the cultural landmark of the city. The most valuable monument of Radom is the preserved buildings of central districts dating back to the 13th century. There are also nine recreation parks in Radom, three of which are entered in the register of monuments – Stary Ogród (Old Garden), Leśniczówka (Forester’s Lodge) and Tadeusz Kościuszko Park.
